Junior Consultant - Emendo Engineering

Are you a newly graduated engineer, marine engineer, or construction technologist looking for a role where no two projects are the same? About the position

As a Junior Engineering Consultant at Emendo Engineering, you will be supported by experienced colleagues while contributing to technical projects at client sites across Zealand. Most of your day-to-day work will take place with our clients, while Emendo remains your professional home base. 

Your assignments will vary from project to project, and tasks will not always be predefined. You should enjoy being close to where projects are carried out, collaborating with different client teams, seeking out information, asking questions, and speaking up when something is unclear or does not add up. Flexibility in transportation is essential, as we work wherever the project is located.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning and coordination of projects from idea to realization
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders
• Support on-site coordination with suppliers and contractors
• Assist in identifying and resolving on-site challenges
• Create technical work descriptions, materials, and documentation

About you

We are looking for a curious, structured, and proactive junior profile who enjoys varied technical work in client environments. You do not need to be an expert from day one, but you should be eager to learn, take responsibility for moving tasks forward, and be comfortable asking questions or constructively challenging information when something is unclear. 

You enjoy contributing to a team while gradually building your professional foundation.

We imagine that you bring:

• A relevant technical education, such as engineering, marine engineering, construction technology, or similar
• A proactive, structured, and curious approach to problem-solving
• Interest in technical projects, production environments, and stakeholder coordination
• Strong communication skills in English; Danish is an advantage
• Flexibility to work at client sites across Zealand

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience from a student job, internship, or project work
• Familiarity with CAD, BIM, GMP, Food/Pharma production, construction standards, or documentation
• Experience preparing presentations, supporting meetings, or using AI tools for structuring, analysis, or technical documentation
