Head of Finance

Are you our new Head of Finance?

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Head of Finance (or “Regnskabschef” in Danish). A position where you will be leading our current finance function of two experienced colleagues and the full responsibility of maintaining our accounts and accounting processes. You will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with current legislation, guidelines and governance.

Over the past years we have grown significantly and you will be joining a company with more than 200 committed and ambitious colleagues. Our group entities are all supported by our central group functions which include finance, legal, marketing and facility.

Finance is split in two functions – Accounting with reference to the Head of Finance and Business Controlling managed by a FP&A Manager.

You and your team will be responsible for all day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring compliance, annual accounts delivery, monthly closures process – All while being able to service our internal and external customers. We expect you are a hands-on-person – who actively is engaged in both providing guidance, being responsible for day-to-day tasks and motivating an experienced and highly competent team. Think of the concept - “Player-Coach”.

You and your team is responsible for accounting services for our entities in Denmark, Germany and USA – A ownership and a high-quality mindset is a prerequisite to ensure, that our consultants can focus on delivering on projects and creating the Good Stories for our external customers.

You will also be responsible maintaining and upgrading our core financial and project system (Maconomy), which is used by all entities in the group.

You will be servicing internal and external customers as well as advisers, auditors and other stakeholders.

Why are we looking for you? First of all, you are a dedicated leader with a passion for accounting and creating results through others, while not being afraid of helping with daily hands-on tasks.

• You are already an experienced Head of Finance from a similar position with a relevant background and/or education as auditor or similar.
• You preferably have experience from the consultancy industry with time and material revenue streams and relevant processes. You know your way around accounting requirements, VAT, salary, tax and managing group accounts.
• You are experienced in working with global accounts, processes and legislation
• You are a natural in thinking processes and controls into your and your teams’ actions.
• You are ready to take responsibility for our systems and accounts both in Denmark, Germany and USA.
