Who we are

Emendo Consulting Group was founded in 2006 and consist of 8 operational units each with a specific focus. We work in several industries; most of our tasks lie within the pharmaceutical industry. Our consultants work across the product life cycle from early R&D, production setup, improvement of current production, implementation of IT solutions and lastly preparing our customers for their future digital journey.

In Emendo Consulting Group we are currently 130+ employees with offices in Nordhavn (Copenhagen), Silkeborg, Kalundborg and Raleigh, USA.                 

Challenge

We are looking for a forward-thinking, inquisitive finance manager who will manage and develop our financial reporting while being the key driver in our own future digital journey.

Aside from having a background in accounting, controlling, and financial reporting from either your education or similar positions - we're also looking for someone who likes data and digitalization.  To be successful, you must always keep your overviews relevant, up-to-date, and forward-looking.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A master´s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• Two to three years of experience within finance, controlling and data analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to deal with people on all levels with tact and diplomacy.
• Experience with E-conomic application or other similar. You can navigate in, setup databases and know visualization tools such as MS PowerBI.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work on your own initiative (operate with autonomy and authority).
• Confident and indept use of Microsoft applications e.g., Word, Excel, PPT,
• Broad knowledge of the Danish accounting rules and VAT legislation.
• Excellent English skills in spoken and written form.

What you will be doing

• Group reporting on financials at month-end and year-end closings.
• Budget process and future ambition to work with both budget and forecasting.
• Ownership and deep dives into our financials, correlations, and indicators.
• Develop future data driven dashboards, processes, and concepts.
• Close collaboration with our highly skilled and committed accounting team.
• Ad hoc financial tasks, projects and analysis.
