We are growing fast and are therefore looking for a Scientific Consultant to join our growth journey.


The job

You will join the Emendo Research & Development team and work with CMC or R&D projects in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. As a Scientific Consultant, you will often participate in or facilitate projects such as technology transfer, implementation and improvement together with a team from one of our clients. You may also serve as a CMC expert on scientific tasks in areas such as analytical methods, data collection/evaluation and documentation.

You will drive projects using a systematic approach and provide clear advice based on your experience in the pharmaceutical industry. You are always ready to “get your hands dirty” and dive in to fully understand our client’s processes. As part of Emendo Research & Development you take pride in being present in the laboratory or plant, analyzing datasets to gain fast results and writing documentation to assist our client team. Being present where the value is created and understanding the process enable effective communication at all levels of the client organization.

About you

You probably have a background within biotechnology, chemistry or pharmaceutical sciences, and hold a PhD or have 1-2 years of experience from a R&D, process development or CMC area in the pharmaceutical industry (preferably within biologics). In addition, you:

  • Have documented experience with project management and complex scientific tasks
  • Preferable have experience with GMP and ICH guidelines
  • Are naturally curious, with proven ability to break down complex issues into manageable tasks and strive to find pragmatic solutions to complex challenges
  • Are analytical, systematic and believe that “data talks” 
  • Are an eager learner and are not afraid of the unknown
  • Can adapt your communication style and presentations to specific audiences and are perceived as a good communicator 
  • Have a natural authority and drive and can motivate your colleagues

Our tasks are often solved at the sites of our customers or in our office in Nordhavn, so it is expected that you are flexible regarding workplace geography.
