Scientific Junior Consultant

Are you an ambitious newly or soon-to-be graduate with a high drive to participate in cutting-edge projects at some of Europe’s most innovative pharma and biotech companies?

Emendo Research & Development provides customized scientific advice, project management, development and optimization to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. We give our clients a competitive edge and accelerate their development and optimization projects by combining our scientific knowledge with a highly engaged and systematic approach.  Emendo Research & Development is part of the Emendo Consulting Group, which provides expertise and hands-on services at every stage of the product lifecycle.

We are growing fast and are therefore looking for a Scientific Junior Consultant to join our growth journey.

The job

You will join the Emendo Research & Development team and work with CMC or R&D projects in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry on projects such as technology transfer, implementation or improvement. As a Scientific Junior Consultant, you will have the possibility to explore many aspects of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries before essentially choosing your area of specialization. You will work together with one or several of your colleagues from Emendo Research & Development in a young, ambitious and professional environment with an informal atmosphere and strong team spirit.

You will initially be assigned to projects together with or with close support from a more experienced colleague before moving onto your own project. Your tasks may vary from project support to one of your colleagues to data collection, evaluation and documentation, to coordination or project management of small independent tasks/projects. Common for all, is that you are always ready to “get your hands dirty” and dive in to fully understand our clients’ processes. You will be thrown into new challenges and are expected to build up new knowledge to deliver on tasks and provide valuable insight. Your level of responsibility in projects will be reflected in the experience you have and which you continuously will build up in Emendo Research & Development. As a Scientific Junior Consultant, you will develop a strong skills set within problem solving, facilitation, optimization, project coordination and management.

If you become our new colleague, you will have direct influence on the projects you are allocated to as well as the development of our company, and you will be part of a fun and social environment.

About you

You have recently finished or are about to finish your master’s degree or equivalent within biotechnology, chemistry or pharmaceutical sciences. In addition, you:

  • Have an analytical, structured and systematic approach to solve complex issues and tasks
  • Are curious and thrive to understand new processes and systems
  • Are an eager learner and feel comfortable in an environment where the pace is high and the learning curve is steep
  • Are ambitious with a proactive approach
  • Have strong communication and presentation skills and feel comfortable communicating with people at all levels
  • Value teamwork and appreciate supporting and motivating your colleagues
  • Preferably are familiar with project management (not a requirement)
  • Preferably have experience with GMP (not a requirement)

Our tasks are often solved at the sites of our customers or in our office in Nordhavn, so it is expected that you are flexible regarding workplace geography.
